Monday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Activities for each session include: singing, dancing, outdoor play, exercise, games, crafts, field trips, morning snack and lunch.

| Session I
June 1-11
“Let's go team, let's go!”
Cheer on your friends and support group games. What is a team? Are there different kinds? Where are they found? Find out the answers to these questions as we discover various sporting events and activities at school, in the backyard and around our community. We’ll make our own team shirts and learn the rules of sportsmanship, taking turns, and how to compromise. Play kickball and t-ball. Dribble, throw and catch a ball. Have fun playing group recess games such as freeze tag, hide & seek, green light red light, red rover and more! Moms & Dads…get your walking shoes because we’ll end our first week with a family scavenger hunt and picnic at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Garden. Brothers, sisters, Grandmas, Grandpas, uncles and aunts…we didn’t forget about you! The whole family can join us on our last day for a Family Fun Day at the T-Bones ballpark! “Root, root, root” for the T-Bones as they crush those Red Hawks! “Take me out to the ballgame…take me out to the crowd…” Join us!

Session II
June 15-25
"Celebrate good times, come on!”
Whether it’s a house party or a party place, we’ll learn how to plan, host, attend and participate in the celebration. Take turns being in the spotlight and in the crowd. Make a phone call to your friends and invite them to attend! Have a poppin’ good time at a 4th of July themed birthday party. Play carnival games and musical chairs. Take a swing at a birthday piñata! Dance, sing and be on the screen with Chucky-E-Cheese and his friends! Don’t forget to make a wish, take a deep breath and blow! Candles and cake are such a treat but singing “Happy Birthday” makes it all complete! So…wear your party hat and blow your party horn cause we’re gonna party till the cows come home!
Parents: We understand some children have severe reservations regarding the Chuck-E-Cheese experience which is why we are including it in this session. Therefore, we’d like to ask that you please not share this information with your child until details are provided at the parent orientation. Thank you!

| Session III
June 29-July 9
“Sensory All Around Me”
“That’s pretty! That’s loud! That’s stinky! That’s yummy! That’s wet!” Come discover your 5 senses and explore the stimulating world around us. We’ll learn about plants & animals, sounds & sensations, pets, nature, tastes and more! Dig your toes into the sand or build a big sand castle. Take a stroll in the park, feed the ducks, watch the birds or play with the dogs. Shh…whisper at the library. Wow, sirens are loud! Adventures will continue as we travel to the pet store and the Deanna Rose Farm. Hike on over to the Overland Park organic farmers market and sample their fruits and vegetables. We’ll end this journey at Prairie Village pool where swimsuits, sandals and towels are required! Join us for this exciting, sensational good time!

Session IV
July 13-23
“Splish, Splash”
Incorporates swimming lessons-all levels
“Get ready, get set, GET WET!” Put on your swimming suit and jump into swimming lessons at Prairie Village pool. We’ll blow, kick, reach and breathe. Hold your breath…we’re going under water exploring too! Meet the lifeguards and learn about water safety and pool rules. Listen for that whistle! If you don’t find us at the pool, we might be slippin’ and slidin’, playing backyard water games, fishing “At the Bottom of the Sea” or dancing with water at the Crown Center Fountains. We’ll also explore oceans, lakes, rivers and ponds…learn what they are and where they can be found. End this session with a splash as we showcase our skills to Mom & Dad! Travel with us through this water filled land.
It’s going to be fun…it’s going to be grand!
